“The happiest moments are when I’m with my friends!”

Ivory truly values friendship. She believes that everything becomes more joyful and exciting when done with friends—and that learning a new language, especially, becomes more effective and fun together.

In Korean class, Ivory confidently introduces herself, quickly recognizes Korean letters, and stays curious about the language. She clearly understands why learning a foreign language like Korean is important and often shares with others how powerful language can be in today’s global world.

Ivory is not only a great learner but also a wonderful friend who connects people through joy, learning, and kindness—just the kind of friend our global community needs!

“예수님, 생일 축하해요!”
For the Christmas celebration, Ivory prepared a Korean song titled “Happy Birthday, Jesus Christ.” She memorized the song perfectly and performed it with beautiful motions. Her eagerness and enthusiasm for learning the Korean language and culture consistently made the class fabulous and joyful!

Ivory shared her response to the question about embodying the ‘Ohana spirit’ by expressing “Affection.” She holds a profound fondness for her family and friends and has a keen interest in helping neighbors in Hawaii, particularly those impacted by the wildfires in Maui this summer. Moreover, she aspires to communicate “I love you” in her Korean class, saying “사랑해요.” using the postcard which she created and design with Korean words “Love” and “Ohana.”
