새해 복 많이 받으세요 Happy New Year!

Jake, who loves soccer and sports, emphasized that faith, hope, and love are key to positively embodying the ‘Ohana spirit in our lives. His love for God and Jesus overflows into genuine care for his family and neighbors. During Korean class, he created a “bokjumeoni” (lucky pouch) filled with Korean currency, as there is a custom in Korea of gifting these pouches filled with money to children on New Year’s Day, symbolizing the belief that blessings come from God. May God’s love and blessings always be with him.

Jake hopes that the peace and love of Christ will fill every corner of the school. He always takes the lead in tackling difficult tasks and blends well with other friends, and his leadership even shines through in small things. Jake is a source of strength for his peers in their Korean language class. Jake’s picture of enjoying a fun time snorkeling with his family during spring break at the beach is truly refreshing and cool.
