“How can we create a better school environment?”

Finn’s Mural Reading

Finn joined the Korean language class from the second semester, and his humor, wit, and strong pride in Korean language shine through in every class. He always says that “Humility and Meekness” is the most important factor in making the world a beautiful place, and he participates in class with a smile on his face.

“Hi, I’m Finn. I’m thirteen years old. I live in Kahuku (near APIS). I’m an APIS student. I’m American. I like chess. I also like tumbling. I go to Europe during vacation. I like to eat beef, and I like to drink boba (Bubble tea). I like to cook.

What do you like to do? Do you like to eat Kimchi?

I can’t wait to see you in Hawaii! :)”

Finn’s Korean Creative Writing “Finn’s Fun Day”

His Korean picture book, “Finn’s Fun Day,” captures his small daily life, but it also reflects how he communicates and builds great relationships with his friends. If you’re curious about his story, click on the link now.

“I am going to Casden’s house. I rode my bike to Casden’s house. I waited for my friends. I met my friends. We went to the beach and we took a shower. We made a fire. I got stung by a scorpion.” – Finn’s Fun Day written by Finn Vansteenkiste
